Lancome Teint Visionnaire Review

lancome-teint-review

Lancome released a new foundation / concealer duo in 2013, we wrote about it earlier this month. You can read all about it here.

But now it's time to take a closer look at it.

Lancome Teint Visionnaire is available in 18 shades .A lot of bright tones are amongst them, so if u have a problem finding the right shade because your skin is too fair, it probably won't be a problem here.

For the test, I have chosen the color 03 – chosen Beige Diaphane which fits my skintone almost perfectly. You can take a look at the other shades available here.

The packaging is a delight, I really like it. The massive glass bottle has a very good quality and the silver cap looks very expensive, but it is also easily susceptible to fingerprints. The highlight is the included concealer cap with the small mirror . The concealer matches the tone of the foundation perfectly and helps covering skin redness, dark circles and age spots. The foundation has a liquid consistency and can be easily spread on the face with the fingers or a mekaup brush. There are no stains or smudges, the makeup fits great on the skin and looks very natural. The concealer has a creamy, firm texture and is a touch lighter than the foundation itself in the overall picture, however, it harmonizes perfectly.

The coverage of the concealer is much stronger, so that the most problematic areas can be covered relatively easily. I am very satisfied with the result. My skin tone looks really even and fresh. The coverage medium but buildable to full coverage, it looks very natural and can be enhanced locally by the concealer. The combination of makeup and concealer is a win, especially the color coordination is optimal. The makeup is also suitable for my combination skin, even without a primer, it can be applied well.

After about 20 minutes, you can clearly see how the foundation behaves over time and how it adapts to the skin. Now to the problem areas :

Pores

The result is stunning and the foundation lives up to my expectations: the pores are smaller, the skin looks very smooth and plump.

Blemishes / flaws

The concealer adapts well, covers neatly and the coverage can be built up.

Mouth area

Almost everyone has fine hairs around the mouth, which can be problematic sometimes and can look very ugly with the wrong foundation. The Foundation is very delicate and blends well around the mouth. The result is very good.

On the chin, I had slight blemishes, which I covered with the corrector. If you look up close,it is noticeable, but from a normal distance, they were almost invisible. The Foundation maintains a good appearance throughout the day, but it shines on my combination skin after 2-3 h rather strong. The "permanent" finish is actually rather like satin with a natural radiance.

Not too matte, not too shiny, but is driven by my skin throughout the day rather in the shiny direction. Armed with a good blotting paper that is not a drawback. All in all the Lancome Teint Visionnaire is a great product, it last very long and is definitely worth the money.
