The latest addition to Dior‘s makeup line: the Pink Lilac shade is now available in four iconic Dior products, all included in the Dior Addict Pink Lilac Makeup Set. At the heart of the set lies the Dior Addict Lip Glow Balm, a versatile lip makeup essential that doubles as a lip balm and primer. Infused with innovative color reviver technology, this lip balm reacts with the lips’ moisture level to present a personalized hue and subtle shine that lasts up to 6 hours. Enriched with nourishing cherry oil and housed in a couture case, it provides 24-hour hydration, ensuring your lips stay supple and moisturized throughout the day.

Accompanying the Lip Glow Balm is the luxurious Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil, a nourishing lip oil that enhances the lips’ natural color while providing hydration and protection. Renowned for its non-greasy, non-sticky texture, this lip oil creates a smoothing film that imparts a mirror-like shine, leaving your lips feeling soft and revitalized.

  1. 🌸💖 OMG just saw the Pink Lilac set from Dior and I’m in LOVE! The Lip Glow Balm is everything!! 😍 #DiorAddict #MustHave

  2. 🌟 Who else is obsessed with Dior’s new Pink Lilac shade? That Lip Glow Oil is a dream come true for my lips! 🙌💕

  3. Honestly, I’ve had enough with brands like Dior charging an arm and a leg for what turns out to be pretty average products. I recently tested the Dior Addict Pink Lilac Makeup Set, and let’s just say I was less than impressed. First off, the Lip Glow Balm, while it promises up to 6 hours of personalized hue and shine, barely made it through my morning coffee. For something housed in a “couture case” and boasting 24-hour hydration, my lips felt dry by noon.

Then there’s the Lip Glow Oil. Sure, it’s non-greasy and non-sticky, but so are dozens of other cheaper products I’ve tried that actually leave my lips feeling moisturized. Dior’s version? Not so much. It felt like I needed to reapply every hour to maintain any semblance of that promised “mirror-like shine.”

Don’t even get me started on the Lip Maximizer. They claim it delivers a “maximum volume effect” and “24-hour hydration” with a lovely minty scent. Honestly, the plumping effect was minimal, and the hydration disappeared faster than the scent of mint. It’s a glorified lip gloss with a designer label.

And the powder blush – it’s supposed to adapt to your skin’s pH and moisture for a lasting, radiant color. It was so underwhelming! The color payoff was mediocre at best, and it certainly didn’t last all day. By mid-afternoon, it looked like I hadn’t applied any blush at all.

All in all, you’re basically paying for the Dior name rather than quality makeup. There are so many products out there at a fraction of the cost that perform way better. It’s disappointing because you expect a luxury brand to deliver luxury results, not just a luxury experience at the point of purchase. It’s time we demand more from these high-end brands. They should be setting the bar for quality, not just charging premium prices.
