Summer Fridays expands its lip category with the release of SoftLine Lip Liner and Flushed Lip Stain, two products designed to work independently or as a paired routine. They focus on defining lip shape, enhancing natural tone, and delivering comfortable wear through lightweight formulas and considered application tools.
LIPS
SoftLine Lip Liner centers on structure and control. The formula enhances the natural outline of the lips, offering definition without stiffness. Its smooth texture allows the liner to glide easily across the lip line, reducing drag while supporting precise placement. Hyaluron filling spheres support this glide while helping lips appear smoother and fuller in appearance. A blend of coconut and jojoba oils adds lightweight nourishment, supporting softness and moisture retention throughout wear. Carnauba and candelilla waxes contribute to structure, allowing the liner to hold its shape once applied. The finish remains matte, keeping the result clean and refined.
Designed as a go-to base for everyday lip combinations, SoftLine Lip Liner wears comfortably and blends with ease. It supports both subtle contouring and more defined shaping, depending on application. The range includes eight shades intended to complement a wide range of lip tones. Sugar offers a soft cool pink, while Rosé introduces a warmer rosy hue. Latte sits in warm peachy tan territory, followed by Pecan in a deep warm maroon. Toffee delivers a soft neutral brown, Cinnamon leans into warm clay, Brownie stays neutral, and Espresso provides the deepest neutral brown option.
Flushed Lip Stain approaches color through tone rather than coverage. The formula leaves a soft, flushed tint that enhances the natural color of the lips. Its lightweight texture supports buildable application without heaviness, and the stain resists transfer once set. Aloe vera gel supports lip barrier health and helps prevent dryness, while panthenol boosts hydration and softness over time. The formula relies on ink-dye technology and a water-based dye system, contributing to its long-wear performance.
In a consumer perception study, 96 percent of participants reported that Flushed Lip Stain delivered a visible flush of color after 12 hours. The finish remains natural, keeping the lips looking balanced. Application relies on a thin-tipped, marker-style applicator that supports controlled placement and clean edges.
Flushed Lip Stain arrives in six shades: Slipper, Rosette, Maple, Plum, Almond, and Mocha. The range moves through rosy pinks, brick-leaning tones, and deeper browns, with Mocha landing as a warm mahogany shade.
SoftLine Lip Liner and Flushed Lip Stain launch on the Sephora app on February 2, followed by a full release on February 3 at Summer Fridays website.
