Guerlain introduces a new chapter of its iconic bronzing powder with Terracotta Golden Dunes, a limited-edition release that reframes the sun-kissed complexion through Moroccan heritage and refined formulation. Recognized as the number one bronzing powder in Europe, Terracotta continues its reinvention with an exclusive compact design and three collectible refillable cases.

MAKEUP

Originally launched in 1984, Terracotta built its legend on the idea of capturing the shifting shades of the Moroccan desert. Golden Dunes extends that narrative. The compaction mirrors the sculpted curves of dunes shaped by sunlight, translating landscape into texture. A gradation of bronzing, blush, and illuminating tones unfolds across the surface, allowing the hues to merge seamlessly or stand alone. Warm golden undertones dominate, delivering a soft and blushing healthy glow that feels natural and controlled.

The formula contains 96% naturally-derived ingredients¹ and introduces a silky, ultra-light texture that fuses effortlessly with the skin. Luminescent shimmer enhances radiance without overpowering the complexion. Infused with a touch of Euphorbia flower honey sourced from Morocco, the powder supports skin’s natural hydration while maintaining long-lasting comfort. The result reads as subtly sun-warmed, as though the face has absorbed light across the forehead, cheekbones, and bridge of the nose.

Terracotta Golden Dunes arrives in three exclusive refillable cases created in collaboration with the Aït Manos workshops, known for preserving and modernizing the Moroccan art of zellige. Each design interprets desert landscapes through color and geometric detail. Blue Dakhla features a lapis lazuli-inspired blue framed by a red geometric motif with accents of light blue and white. Red Zagora combines garnet red with yellow tones in a stylized sun composition. Green Agafay draws on jade hues and centers a star-shaped motif within layered green gradations. The marbled finishes echo semi-precious stones, reinforcing the connection between craftsmanship and nature.

Application remains versatile and intuitive. For an all-over glow, sweeping a kabuki brush across the entire surface warms the complexion in a single gesture. For targeted sculpting, individual bronzing shades define contours, the coral blush tone adds warmth to the cheeks, and the luminizer brightens high points. The formula extends beyond the face, allowing selected shades to enhance eyelids for a softly tanned nude or coral finish.

Since 2007, Guerlain has aligned its vision with biodiversity protection and environmental responsibility, placing bees at the center of its commitment. Terracotta Golden Dunes continues that direction while celebrating the Moroccan landscapes that inspired the original powder.

With Golden Dunes, Guerlain refines the language of summer radiance. The result balances heritage, craftsmanship, and modern formulation in a compact designed to capture light at every angle.
