Hermes, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, has launched its latest beauty innovation: the Rouge Brillant Silky lipstick collection. Introduced in 2025, this new range builds on the success of the brand’s initial foray into beauty in 2020 with the Rouge Hermès line. The Rouge Brillant Silky line promises a lightweight, buildable, and intensely glossy experience, marrying color with emotion and transforming lipstick into an expression of one’s mood.

The collection was designed by Pierre Hardy, Hermès Beauty’s Creative Director, who crafted the lipstick cases with elegance and sustainability in mind. Echoing the design elements of the original Rouge Hermès lipsticks, these new cases are made from lacquered, brushed, and polished metal in sophisticated shades and are refillable. Each case is topped with an engraved ex-libris, resembling an incurved fingerprint, a signature mark of the house’s attention to detail.
The formula of Rouge Brillant Silky is an example of the fusion of luxury and nature, containing 85% ingredients of natural origin. It features a combination of plant oils and butters enriched with active ingredients like raspberry leaf extract to moisturize and plump, sesame seed extract to smooth and soften, Abyssinian oil to nourish and protect, and white mulberry. This composition ensures not only the beauty of the color but also the health of the lips, staying true to Hermès’s philosophy of holistic luxury.
Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, describes the new lipstick as “a companion for every occasion.” Its intuitive application allows for a free and comforting gesture, encouraging users to play with the color intensity for either a subtle sheen or a bolder statement. The unique texture, inspired by the softness and delicacy of Hermès’s iconic silk, glides effortlessly onto the lips.
This collection offers a range of fourteen permanent shades and three limited edition colors, each named to capture the essence of the hues: from Beige Tan’s subtle natural beige illuminated by a pearly sheen to Rouge Amazone’s warm, vibrant red that speaks of timeless radiance.
