Urban Decay refreshes one of its most recognized products with a new update to the All Nighter Setting Spray. First launched nearly fifteen years ago, the setting spray has earned its place in everyday makeup routines thanks to its consistent ability to keep makeup in place. Now, the brand introduces its most significant revision yet, adding two new finishes and extending its wear time.

This version of All Nighter arrives with a few changes that don’t stray from the product’s core function. Urban Decay increases the wear time from 16 to 24 hours and redesigns the spray to release a finer mist. It also delivers a cooling effect when applied, which adds a fresh sensory element to the experience. The familiar packaging gets a visual update to match the reformulation.

The most noticeable addition comes through finish options. Alongside the original version with its natural skin effect, the brand now offers two alternatives: matte and glowy. Both serve different preferences, responding to shifts in makeup styling over the past few years.

For those looking to reduce shine and keep their skin smooth and airbrushed, the matte version applies evenly without buildup. It holds makeup in place with a powder-like effect that doesn’t flatten the skin. On the other hand, the glowy version aims for radiance without extra shimmer. It supports makeup that leans toward dewiness and adds dimension without heavy residue.

Each formula retains the lightweight wear and waterproof properties that defined the original. Urban Decay keeps the setting spray non-sticky, ensuring the product holds its place in daily routines. These qualities remain essential to All Nighter’s appeal across makeup users with different skin types or styles.

Reformulating a long-standing product usually raises concerns among users. Urban Decay addresses this by positioning the update as an expansion rather than a full overhaul. The original version stays in the lineup, while the new matte and glowy additions offer more control over the final makeup look. Instead of replacing the familiar product, the new version introduces subtle adjustments that align with current preferences while preserving what worked before.

The new All Nighter Setting Spray will launch on July 31 through Urban Decay’s website. Each version, including the new matte and glowy finishes, will retail for $34 USD. The update provides a wider range of finish options and introduces small functional improvements without stepping too far from the formula that made the product a long-term favorite.
