Maria Grazia Chiuri presented the Dior Cruise 2026 collection on May 27 at Villa Albani Torlonia in Rome, drawing on the theatrical influence of Mimì Pecci-Blunt and Fellini’s cinematic Rome. The collection explored the idea of disguise and fantasy, using structured tailoring, sculptural lace, and layered textures to suggest scenes from a surreal costume ball. Vests with lapels opened the show, paired with long skirts and tailcoats, while lace and pleated silks brought softness and contrast.

Guests dressed in Dior reflected the collection’s atmosphere. Natalie Portman wore a white silk jacket and long dress from the show. Rosamund Pike appeared in a lace shirt and skirt with a silver belt. Han So-Hee, Rachel Brosnahan, Deva Cassel, Ashley Park, Beatrice Borromeo, Marisa Berenson, Alexandra Daddario, and Razane Jammal also attended in various lace, pleated, and embroidered Dior looks.

In attendance, each guest became part of Chiuri’s ongoing narrative. The collection avoided excess and uniformity, letting every look suggest its own visual rhythm. Together, the casting, setting, and styling created a mood that reflected Chiuri’s Rome, part cinema, part history, part dress-up, all intent.
