The prestigious V&A museum is set to host the inaugural UK exhibition dedicated solely to the groundbreaking work of French couturière, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel. This landmark event will trace the remarkable journey and evolution of her distinctive design style, alongside the illustrious history of the House of CHANEL. From Coco’s humble beginnings with the establishment of her maiden millinery boutique in Paris in 1910 to the unveiling of her final collection in 1971, the exhibition promises to unfold the layers of her iconic legacy.

This notable exhibition is being brought to life through a collaborative effort with Palais Galliera, the esteemed Fashion Museum of the City of Paris, and Paris Musées, generously supported by CHANEL.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, a select group of ambassadors and close associates of the House gathered for a celebratory dinner at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on Tuesday, 12th September. This exclusive gathering served as a vibrant prelude to the much-anticipated exhibition, fostering camaraderie and excitement in anticipation of the public unveiling of this monumental showcase.
