Perfumers at Salvatore Ferragamo have released the Acqua Essenziale Blu to the shelves back in April next year. Nevertheless the campaign now has its face with male supermodel Garrett Neff fronting the campaign. Known already as a Ferragamo Man, Neff has also been the face of now de-shelved Calvin Klein Man fragrance (more than 5 years ago).
The new Ferragamo is inspired by the ongoing season as well as the sea water notes as well as the waves. The formula also combines a mix of aromatic herbal nuances, resins, wood scent, as well as citruses. The Essenziale Blu comes directly from the previously released Acqua Essenziale. The main notes of the Blu fragrance are Calabrian bergamot and lemon, as well as the moleculs of the very strong paradisone molecules. Behind this Ferragamo fragrance was perfumer Alberto Morillas.
It is available on the shelves in the travel 30 ml pack, as well as 50 and 100 ml bottles as an Eau de Toilette. From the corresponding products the Italian fashion house is also placing a 200ml shower gel on the marker.
Returning to the showstopping ad campaign featuring Garrett Neff, the top model was photographed by Camilla Akrans. The ageless top model is represented by Why Not Model Management in Milano, Success Models in Paris, IMG Models in New York and London while in Barcelona he’s with Sight Management Studio.
