In a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she confirmed that Skims Beauty is in development, describing the Tangle Teezer release as part of a larger transition toward makeup, fragrance, and the return of products from the former KKW Beauty line. The move follows SKIMS reacquiring full rights to SKKN from Coty in March 2025, consolidating all future beauty projects under a single brand identity.
The updated version of the brush maintains Tangle Teezer’s patented dual-tooth technology, designed to detangle wet hair without breakage while reducing frizz and defining curls. The model is developed for curly, coily, and textured hair, but works across all hair types, cutting detangling time in half while preserving elasticity and softness. The redesign focuses purely on form, no change in function, only a shift to the SKIMS visual language.
As a brand move, the drop acts as a preview of the Skims Beauty direction: minimalist aesthetics, functional formulas, inclusive positioning, and premium-level production. Rather than launching with a full product line, Kardashian begins with a tool, suggesting that the beauty rollout will arrive in structured phases rather than as a single release moment.
