YSL Beauté has presented its new Babydoll collection, due to launch May 22. Top model Cara Delevingne is announced as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté makeup range.
The top model fronts the ads for the beauty range, which show Cara dressed in a black long-sleeved dress and heels kneeling on the floor with '60s-inspired eyeliner, rose pink lips and holding up one of the line's mascaras.
The collection features Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Babydoll , which promises to lengthen each eyelash, whilst providing volume. The mascara contains an elastomer brush with thick, widely spaced bristles to coat and magnify lashes, and finer bristles to define and coat smaller lashes from the root. It comes in four shades: Fetish Black, Wheedler Brown, Audacious Blue, and Indiscreet Purple. Additionally, the collection consists of Eyeliner Babydoll in Light Golden Brown, Light Blue, Light Amethyst, Golden Reflections, and Rose Babydoll; limited edition Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres lipstick in Rose Babydoll ; and limited edition La Laque Couture in Rose Babydoll nail varnish.
Rumours about Cara's new beauty venture first surfaced back in January when the model tweeted: 'Just finished my last day shooting @YSL cosmetics! Feeling like a baby doll!', before it was quickly deleted, so this is the first time that we've seen the resulting ad images.
