REFY expands its complexion category with Skin Base, a new product developed around simplicity, adaptability, and a skin-first approach. Positioned as an alternative to heavier formulas, the tint responds to increasing demand for products that feel closer to skincare than makeup. Developed with direct input from the REFY community, Skin Base reflects a clear direction, a complexion product that removes unnecessary steps while maintaining performance.
MAKEUP
The formula focuses on texture as its defining element. Built with a Korean-formulated gel base, Skin Base absorbs into the skin rather than sitting on top of it, creating a finish that remains light and controlled. Coverage builds gradually, allowing the product to move from sheer to more defined without losing its natural appearance. The result aligns with REFY’s broader approach, where makeup supports the skin rather than masking it.

Skin Base integrates skincare components directly into its composition. Hyaluronic acid supports hydration, while inclusium works to adjust the formula to different skin types. REFY also introduces its second-skin pigment technology, designed to move with the skin throughout the day, maintaining consistency in finish without cracking or settling. This combination positions the product between skincare and makeup, focusing on flexibility and wearability.

The launch arrives with a campaign led by REFY creative director Jess Hunt, drawing from an office-inspired setting that frames the product within a daily routine. Available in 18 shades, Skin Base offers a range intended to adapt across skin tones while maintaining the same lightweight texture.

Retailing at $40 USD, Skin Base is now available through Sephora, marking a continued expansion of REFY’s approach to complexion products shaped by user feedback and streamlined application.
