Burberry is launching a new fragrance named Body Tender today. The Brand launched the first Body fragrance in 2011. After that,there were many variations like Body Eau de Parfum Intense (2011), Body Eau de Toilette (2012) and Body Rose Gold (2012).
With Body Tender they wanted to explore and bring out the softer, more playful sides of the Burberry girl – capturing this light femininity in the scent as well as the campaign. Burberry Body Tender combines the relaxed, playful attitude of the Burberry girl with the energy of the brand’s London hometown. The scent itself brings together a fresh surge of lemon, dewy English rose and white jasmine against a warm, effortlessly feminine soft base.
The Scent opens with a fresh surge of lemon, crisp apple and green absinthe following a delicate blend of dewy English rose, white jasmine and sandalwood in the heart. A soft base of cashmeran, amber and musk gives understated warmth and femininity.
The bottle is a feminine presentation of the iconic Burberry Body glass bottle, designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey .The Jewel-like bottle reflects the many facets of the brand and the Burberry girl . It refracts light and filters the soft rose colour of the fragrance throughout the bottle.
The campaign features British actress and model Cara Delevingne. The campaign was shot on the River Thames in London, by photographer Mario Testino under the creative direction of Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey.
The fragrance is available as 35, 60 and 85 ml Eau de Toilette.
