Glossier unveils Cloud Paint Plush Blush, the newest member of its bestselling blush range. The launch includes ten sunset-inspired shades, with four familiar favorites: Puff, Beam, Soar, and Storm, joined by six new additions. The newcomers are Billow, a lavender tone; Gale, a tawny pink; Float, a rosy mauve; Bloom, a cool baby pink; Burst, an intense red; and Plume, a deep plum. The palette spans from understated neutrals to more dramatic hues, offering versatile options for every look.

BLUSHES

The blush introduces a new texture the brand calls Memory Cloud. The pillowy-soft formulation feels bouncy to the touch before transforming into a powder finish on the skin. This technology allows for both a sheer wash of color and more concentrated looks, depending on application. The blush delivers a soft-matte finish designed to blur the appearance of pores, providing a diffused effect without compromising comfort. The powder elements also help absorb excess shine, keeping skin fresh throughout the day.

Each compact contains six grams of product, priced at $26. Glossier highlights a composition that is vegan and cruelty-free, a commitment that extends across the Cloud Paint family. The formula includes clover flower extract, known for antioxidant benefits that support a soft-focus finish. Powdered ceramides and botanical glycerides help retain moisture, ensuring that the soft-matte result does not compromise hydration.

The blush is dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic, and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It also offers longwear performance of up to eight hours and is resistant to water, sweat, humidity, and transfer.

Glossier designed Cloud Paint Plush Blush for flexible use. Users can press or glide their finger across the surface of the blush, then apply it directly onto the skin, blending out with fingertips for a natural finish. For brush application, the formula works with the new Cloud Paint Cheek Brush, which can be swirled over the blush and blended onto cheeks for a diffused look. Mixing and layering with the original Cloud Paint is encouraged to create custom flushes.

Glossier Makeup Artist Ambassador Celia Burton suggests: “Cloud Paint Plush Blush is the matte blush you’ve been waiting for. It gives that soft puff of color like the original, but with a blurring finish that smooths the skin and minimizes the look of pores – no need to set with powder.”

The Dual-Ended Cheek Brush retails for $25 and was developed to work with both liquid and powder products. One side features a retractable tapered synthetic brush, ideal for blending Plush Blush or other powder formulations. The other side offers a silicone tip that mimics the pressure and precision of fingertips, making it well-suited for liquid blushes, including the original Cloud Paint. It comes with caps for portability and was designed to enhance application across both formulas, even on smaller areas like the brow bone. Like the blush itself, the brush is vegan and cruelty-free, reflecting Glossier’s broader values.

The introduction of Cloud Paint Plush Blush extends Glossier’s ongoing exploration of color cosmetics. Born from the brand’s 2017 Cloud Paint concept inspired by NYC sunsets and finger-painting playfulness, the Plush Blush reimagines powder with the same mindset.

Cloud Paint Plush Blush and the Dual-Ended Cheek Brush mark a significant seasonal update for Glossier. The products reflect the brand’s vision of makeup that feels intuitive, adaptable, and rooted in innovative textures.
