Tanning for Acne Treatment

Waking up to a pimple on the face is a nightmare, and you immediately start doubting your daily skincare routine and even your diet. For example, oily skin and P-bacteria together make a deal to pop out pimples on your face. Sun rays, AKA UV rays, can kill the P-bacteria, causing acne.

No bacteria = No pimples. Easy, right?

However…

Sun tanning or any artificial tanning temporarily gives you a good feeling by clearing acne. The later outcomes can bring bigger problems.

There are some simple and natural ways to deal with cystic acne or pimples. But before that, you deserve to know what risk a tanning treatment might cause to your skin.

Risks From Tanning Treatment for Acne

Here are risks that occurs due to tanning or sun rays –

1. Skin Damage:

Ever wondered why skin gets tan after a sunbath?

That’s your skin reacting to protect itself by secreting melanin pigment. Excess UV rays can damage your skin. Besides, tanning can only eliminate pimples and not cystic acne that grows way inside the skin layers.

Damaging your skin by inflicting yourself sun brings for temporary happiness of acne reduction is also not a solution.

2. Skin Cancer

People prefer tanning for two reasons. One is, of course, clearing acne. And the second is to get vitamin D. Excess exposure of the skin to the sunlight might cause melanoma – life-threatening skin cancer. Melanoma is a result of cancerous melanin pigments, which occurs due to harmful sun rays.

3. Wrinkles and Sagging

Some people even try tanning beds as an acne treatment. Because they think it’s safer than actual sunbathing.

No. false.

Tanning beds penetrate intense harmful rays through your skin. Your skin will become a victim of premature aging. That means wrinkles and sagging.

That’s not what you want.

It would help if you had a natural and long-lasting solution for your acne problems.

Natural Treatment To Get Rid of Acne

Acne doesn’t go very quickly. You have to be very patient with the treatment. Some people also prefer taking pills or medication to cure acne overnight.

But once they stop taking the medication, pimples say ‘hello’ to the skin again immediately. Instead, natural skincare routine and a perfect nutrient-enriched diet would be the best acne treatment.

Even dermatologists recommend a skincare routine suitable for your skin type. It not just clears acne but avoids side effects.

A standard skincare routine includes:

1. Cleansing skin pores with warm water and a face wash.
2. Exfoliating your skin at least twice or thrice a week to remove dead skin cells, oil, and bacteria.
3. Applying a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.
4. Sunscreen for UV damage protection.

If you have dry skin, then you must use a moisturizer regularly. A milk-based moisturizer would be the best skin softener. Oily-skin does not get along with a milk-based moisturizer. An oil-free moisturizer will hydrate the skin without clogging skin pores.

Sensitive skin reacts very quickly to any changes, especially to sun damage. Prefer natural fruit-based skincare products.

PRO TIP:  A fruit-based exfoliator works fantastic for acne treatment. Averr Aglow’s Illuminating Essence Exfoliating Face Mask has cloudberry oil, silica, and Icelandic volcanic ash.

It will naturally cure acne breakouts, remove blackheads and blemishes.

Follow a daily skincare routine to clear acne scars. Skincare routine blooms even better with a perfect diet. Avoid eating excess sugar, fat, or dairy products.

Plant-based milk, low fat and low sugar diet prevents acne and gives the natural shine to the skin.

Lovely ladies,

Don’t get amused by temporary acne solutions. Go with a simple skincare routine and a suitable diet to blossom your skin naturally.
