Hilary Duff joined Bath & Body Works as brand ambassador and creative partner for Fruit Fusion, a body care franchise inspired by the fruity scents and playful beauty culture of the early 2000s. The partnership arrived as Duff returned to touring for the first time in almost two decades.
BODY CARE
Fruit Fusion introduced four scents: Watermelon Whirl, Tangerine Twirl, Berry Bliss and Banana Blend. Bath & Body Works developed the range across body wash, body cream, body lotion, perfume mist for hair and body, lip oil, hand cream and hand sanitizer.
The vegan formulas excluded sulfates, parabens and phthalates, while selected products used ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, shea butter, coconut oil and aloe.

Each scent followed a distinct fruit profile. Watermelon Whirl paired dewy watermelon with berry notes and appeared across products including moisturizing body wash, body cream and hand sanitizer. Tangerine Twirl combined mango pulp with fizzy tangerine and appeared as a perfume mist and hand cream. Berry Bliss included blackberry, frozen acai and pineapple notes, with formats such as body lotion and lip oil. Banana Blend paired banana with smooth vanilla across body cream and lotion.

Bath & Body Works positioned the collection as a long-term franchise, with plans to add new scents and formats over time. The release marked the retailer’s first major project debut on Amazon following its arrival on the platform earlier in the year.

Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, chief brand and product officer at Bath & Body Works, described Duff as a strong match for the franchise because of her confidence, humor and public connection with joy and authenticity.
