For Holiday 2025, Diptyque invites us into a fairy tale imagined as A Night of Wax and Gold, a story told through fragrance, light, and exquisite objects.

Inspired by the literary cafés of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where writers, artists, and free spirits once gathered, this collection transforms seasonal rituals into a poetic universe suspended between fantasy and craftsmanship.
At the center of this year’s collection is Sapin (Pine Tree), Diptyque’s quintessential holiday scent. Balancing vibrant Siberian pine and balsam fir with resinous cedar and mossy undertones, Sapin evokes the warmth of a freshly cut tree awaiting decoration. This fragrance appears in multiple forms, including hand-poured candles enhanced with gold-dusted labels, a Murano glass diffuser, and for the first time, a scented oval medallion crafted in Portugal.
The Advent Calendar arrives shaped like a gilded book, its compartments revealing 25 surprises hidden among illustrated bookshelves and a mischievous cat. Another seasonal highlight, the Advent Taper Candle, counts down December’s days, its wax molded into the silhouette of a pine tree crowned with a flame. Decorative accessories echo the fairy tale theme: golden candle lids, porcelain trays, whimsical baubles, and a fantastical matchbox illustrated with pine motifs and a Parisian metro scene.
Artist Inès Mélia contributes exclusive objects to the collection, including a Pine Cone Paperweight inscribed with the word “Flamme” and wax ornaments shaped like dancing letters for decorating the tree. For Diptyque’s flagship stores in Paris and London, she also created ceramic designs such as a dripping wax-inspired candle stand and book-shaped bookmarks, linking the literary and olfactory threads of the collection.
Diptyque extends its festive aesthetic to signature eaux de parfum, dressing Orphéon, Do Son, and Eau Rose in golden sleeves, and offering special 200ml editions of Orphéon, Do Son, and Fleur de Peau. The Carousel, a Diptyque classic, also returns in an entirely golden form, available for both classic and extra-large candles. Meanwhile, the Lantern reinvents candlelight with a new lampshade-inspired design that plays with shadow and glow.
