During the evening, the innovative 3D screens in the space featured a preview of an original film and prelude produced in collaboration with Frieze and directed by Wu Tsang and Adam Csoka Keller, respectively. The film explores house music in New York in the late 1980s. Guests also enjoyed DJ sets from Justin Strauss and Arca as well as a special performance by a Brooklyn-based punk band, Surfbort. Finally, guests were served iconic dishes from well-known SoHo and Downtown eateries from the past and present including Rubirosa, The Odeon, Nom Wah Tea Parlor and Indochine among others. – from Gucci
