L’Oréal Paris has named Kristen Bell its newest global ambassador, with the Emmy-nominated actress and producer making her debut in a campaign built around confidence, self-worth and the brand’s “You’re Worth It” message.

Bell introduces herself as a global ambassador in the campaign film, taking control of the presentation and delivering the brand’s familiar tagline on her own terms. The video shifts between polished scenes and moments drawn from her daily routine, using her humor and direct delivery to explore the idea of defining personal worth.

“‘You’re Worth It’ isn’t something L’Oréal Paris gave women – the worth was always ours,” Bell said. She described the slogan as permission for women to speak about that value openly rather than something a company could provide.

L’Oréal Paris selected Bell for what the company describes as her self-assurance, warmth and ability to connect with a broad audience. Laura Branik, President of L’Oréal Paris USA, said Bell brings a strong voice to the partnership and encourages women to define their own narratives.

The collaboration will extend into global brand campaigns covering skin care, hair care, hair color and makeup. Bell’s first product-focused campaign will feature the 24H Midnight Cream, with the campaign scheduled to roll out in the coming weeks.

Bell also shared a personal connection to L’Oréal Paris through memories of using her mother’s lipstick while growing up. She recalled taking a few minutes with the product before getting caught and later understood the experience as an early opportunity to experiment with how she wanted to present herself.

That memory connects with the broader direction of her ambassador role. Bell described L’Oréal Paris as a brand that gave women tools to explore their identities rather than prescribing one for them. She said that distinction played a role in her decision to join the company.

As part of the announcement, Bell also shared several products she regularly uses from the brand. Her selections include Plump Ambition Hyaluron Lip Oil, Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Worth It, Midnight Eye Cream, Infallible Setting Spray, Lumi Glotion in shade 902, Elvive Collagen-Lifter Mousse, Midnight Cream, Serum Le Duo, Elnett Hairspray and Extensionist Mascara.

Bell joins L’Oréal Paris with a career spanning television, film and theater. Her credits include The Good Place, Veronica Mars and Nobody Wants This. She also works as a producer and has co-founded several purpose-driven brands.

The company also points to her work related to mental health awareness, environmental sustainability and children’s well-being as part of the reasoning behind the appointment.

Laetitia Toupet, Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris, described Bell as someone who approaches confidence with a clear and individual voice. The company sees her as a natural fit for its long-running message around self-worth.
