This year, for its eighth annual Women of Worth Awards, L’Oréal Paris will tap brand spokesperson Lea Michele to help select the 10 inspiring women to receive $10,000 each.

For the first time, the 2013 winners will represent women across five different generations, two from each age group, dedicated to a variety of social causes. L’Oréal is accepting nominations for their the initiative until June 21 at womenofworth.com.
“At L’Oréal Paris, we hold Women of Worth extremely close to our hearts and are always inspired by the stories we hear,” said Karen Fondu, president of L’Oréal Paris. “ Each year, we continue to evolve the program to honor and support women making beautiful differences in their communities. New this year, to appeal to a wider range of ages, we decided to organize nominations by decades: 18-29 year olds, 30-39 year olds, 40-49 year olds, 50-59 year olds and 60+ year olds. Two honorees will be selected from each age group. Whether in college or retired, we know women of all ages are making phenomenal contributions and we want to recognize and celebrate these achievements. We are excited with the number of submissions we have received so far and look forward to seeing more come in before nominations close.”
