Her appointment places her at the forefront of MAC’s Powder Kiss franchise.

Ella’s relationship with makeup centers on transformation, experimentation, and storytelling, values that align closely with MAC’s long-standing focus on artistry. The brand positions her as a natural fit for its creative direction, with her personal approach reflecting how makeup operates as a tool for self-definition.

Nicola Formichetti, Global Creative Director of MAC Cosmetics, describes Ella as an artist who connects cultures through presence rather than performance. He points to her calm confidence and perspective as qualities that bring a clear, accessible energy to the brand. Formichetti frames her role as a reminder of MAC’s inclusive outlook, emphasizing that individuality remains central to how the brand defines beauty and creative expression.

Ella’s first campaign with MAC debuts an expansion of the Powder Kiss franchise. The new releases include Powder Kiss Hazy Matte Lipstick, described as a softly blurred, hydrating matte formula, and Powder Kiss Lip + Cheek Mousse, a multi-use product designed to deliver diffused color across lips and cheeks.

The global campaign supporting the launch was photographed by Inez & Vinoodh and is scheduled to debut in early January. The rollout introduces the new Powder Kiss products through a lens of modern matte and creative self-expression.

For Ella, joining MAC represents a significant moment on both a personal and professional level. She reflects on growing up between cultures and creative environments, describing MAC as a constant throughout her development. From early experimentation to stage performance, the brand played a role in how she explored identity and style. Entering this partnership now, she views the collaboration as a natural progression in her evolution as an artist.

Ella joins an existing group of MAC ambassadors that includes Chappell Roan, Doja Cat, and Kris Jenner. Her appointment signals the brand’s continued interest in artists who operate across disciplines and audiences, reinforcing MAC’s focus on individuality, creativity, and global perspective through its ambassador roster.
