Miu Miu appoints Jang Wonyoung as its beauty ambassador for Japan and Korea, extending her role within the Italian house. The 21-year-old K-pop star, known mononymously as Wonyoung, continues her association with the brand after previously serving as a fashion ambassador. With this new position, she will appear in the campaign for the upcoming Miutine fragrance, set to launch in April.

Wonyoung holds a central position within IVE, one of South Korea’s most successful girl groups. Her presence in the beauty campaign aligns with her growing influence across music, fashion, and digital platforms. Miu Miu positions her as a figure who reflects the brand’s direction, citing her ability to express modern femininity alongside a distinct sense of individuality. The house connects her image to its own identity, which centers on freedom and unconventional expression.

The Miutine fragrance introduces a composition created by perfumer Dominique Ropion. The scent follows a classic chypre structure, shaped with a fruity gourmand edge. This balance defines the fragrance’s character and sets the tone for the campaign in which Wonyoung will appear.

Wonyoung first gained public attention in 2018 after winning first place on the Mnet reality show “Produce 48,” where she represented Starship Entertainment. She joined the project group Iz*One following the show and remained with the group until its disbandment in 2021. Later that year, she debuted as a member of IVE, marking the start of a new phase in her career.

Her work with Miu Miu forms part of a wider portfolio of brand partnerships. She has also collaborated with Fred, Bulgari, Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy Jeans, and the skin care brand Dr. Althea. Alongside her solo work, Wonyoung continues with IVE. The group released its second studio album “Revive+” in February and announced the “Show What I Am” world tour for 2026.
