Jennifer Lopez joined yesterday’s The Global Citizen VAX event with a performance supporting a push for a greater vaccine coverage both in the United States as well as globally. The event has raised over 50 million USD to help distribute more than 10 million COVID-19 doses as part of the final goal. The funding will also support the WHO Covid19 Solidarity Response Fund.
This is one of the first live concert events with audience, since the pandemic restrictions. Lopez stunned in her Roberto Cavalli dress custom made for her Ain’t Your Mama performance. The event also served as an example how vaccination will allow us to return to large gatherings.
Roberto Cavalli and the newly appointed creative director Fausto Puglisi have created the custom dresses not only for Jennifer Lopez but also JLo her backup dancers.
For the Global Citizen VAX Live Concert in Inglewood the songstress was joined by 40 dancers also clad in custom made looks from Roberto Cavalli. Puglisi and JLO worked on creating an eye-catching rainbow effect on the massive stage. Cavalli’s bright colours for the performance ranged from grape, lime, fuxia & indigo.
Roberto Cavalli team shares with us also a look into the sketches of the dress by Fausto Puglisi. Italian Fashion House Roberto Cavalli appointed Fausto Puglisi in October 2020 as the new Creative Director. The fashion designer presented his first collection for Cavalli earlier this year with a digital lookbook prepared for the Fall Winter 2021 calendar.
