KIKO Milano teams up with STABILO for a limited-edition beauty collaboration that brings the stationery brand’s recognizable highlighter design into makeup. The new STABILO x KIKO Milano Lip Mark(er) takes inspiration from the STABILO BOSS MINI, transforming its familiar shape into a lip tint with buildable colour and a matte finish. The collection introduces five shades, each with a playful name inspired by writing and personal expression.
LIPS
The collaboration connects STABILO’s association with colour and creativity with KIKO Milano’s approach to accessible makeup. Its central idea, “You Are the Highlight,” encourages individuality through a product that looks like something from a pencil case. The result is a compact lip marker that makes its packaging an essential part of the design.
The Lip Mark(er) collection includes five colours, ranging from everyday neutrals to brighter options. Each shade carries a name that references the language of writing, continuing the stationery concept throughout the collection.
01 Fine Print comes in brown, while 02 Afterthought introduces a mauve tone. 03 Don’t Quote Me offers orange, 04 On My Radar delivers red, and 05 Pink(er) completes the selection with a bright pink shade.
The five colours give users different options for creating lip combinations or wearing the tint independently. KIKO Milano designed the formula to allow gradual application, so users can control the intensity according to their preferred result.
The names add another recognizable detail to the collaboration, connecting the colours with the writing instruments that inspired their packaging.
The Lip Mark(er) features an angled applicator that supports two application techniques. Its flat surface distributes colour across the lips, while the narrow edge allows users to define their contours with greater precision.
KIKO Milano describes the formula as lightweight, with a flexible, velvet-soft layer of colour that adheres to the lips. The tint creates a natural-looking matte finish, and additional applications increase its intensity.
The collaboration also reflects STABILO’s wider focus on colour, creativity and confidence. KIKO Milano brings its makeup expertise to the project, developing a functional lip product around the stationery-inspired format.
