CELINE Beauté expands its lip offering with the launch of Le Rouge CELINE Matte Lip Balm Collection, arriving in April 2026 as the next chapter in the Maison’s growing beauty universe. First introduced with the satin lipstick unveiled during Hedi Slimane’s “La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe” show in March 2024, CELINE Beauté continues to translate the codes of the brand’s Haute Parfumerie into makeup, reinforcing a distinctly French idea of femininity, restraint, and allure.
LIPS
The new collection introduces eight matte-finish lip balms: one universal transparent shade and seven softly tinted shades with buildable colour. Designed as everyday essentials rather than overt statement products, the balms deliver a natural matte finish that stays close to the lips’ own texture, combining comfort with subtle pigment. The wide, bevelled stick shape allows for generous, effortless application, aligning with the collection’s emphasis on ease and intimacy rather than precision-driven makeup rituals.

At the core of the formula is a made-to-measure composition developed for CELINE by the LVMH Research Laboratories. Made with 94% natural-origin ingredients, the balm blends oils, squalane, sunflower wax, rice wax, and beeswax, enriched with black rose oil extract and hyaluronic acid spheres to support hydration and long-lasting comfort. The texture melts on contact, leaving lips soft, supple, and lightly veiled in colour, while the universal shade remains completely invisible.
Scent plays a quiet but deliberate role. Each balm is delicately fragranced with a fresh, sugary rose accord that recalls the powdery signature running through the entire CELINE Haute Parfumerie collection, reinforcing the idea of continuity across categories rather than standalone beauty products.

As with all CELINE Beauté creations, the object itself is central. The refillable lip balm is housed in a faceted silver metal case embossed with the Triomphe, the Maison’s emblem. Inspired by late 18th-century French classicism and the assertive minimalism of Art Deco, the case mirrors the design language of the original Le Rouge CELINE lipstick. A black velvet pouch marked with the Triomphe seal and a white embossed paper box complete the presentation, positioning the balm as a couture object rather than a disposable cosmetic.
The collection launches on April 26, 2026, with shades ranging from the transparent 01 Incolore to soft pinks, rosy browns, smoky purples, and luminous reds. Together, the eight shades frame Le Rouge CELINE Matte Lip Balm as an extension of the Maison’s wider aesthetic universe, fliwhere fragrance, makeup, and object design operate with the same precision and intent.
