Rabanne SS26 runway makeup look by Diane Kendal set the tone with glowing skin, freckles, and metallic details. The brand introduced its Spring Summer 2026 collection with a show that balanced optimism with hints of looming change. The season’s theme, The Wakening, drew from both natural forces beyond human control and the societal undercurrents of the 1950s, the decade before Paco Rabanne founded his house.

At the center of the collection, Julien Dossena revisited 1950s swimwear and wetsuits, transforming them into modern silhouettes. Bikini tops appeared beneath dresses, neoprene pants folded at the waist, and skirts were draped or dropped lower with oversized belts. Layers added depth, from sunset graphics framed by palm embroidery to floral details inspired by swim caps. Tropical prints, roses, plaids, and stripes carried the narrative from lightness to a darker edge.
The palette built on white, black, and brown, expanded with yellow, blue, peach, emerald, and marine. Accessories intensified the mood, with a metal-tiered “car crash” skirt, metallic leaf pumps, surf booties for daily wear, silver jewelry shaped like florals and fruit, and glossy patent bags.
To complement this eclectic vision, Diane Kendal designed a runway makeup look. Skin glowed with V.I.P. Glow and Everywear Concealer, while color arrived through the Mini Blushy Palette in Almost Famous and Incompatibles. Freckles dotted the cheeks using Colorshot in My Bad #01 and Sorry Not Sorry #02, softening the polished finish.
For lips, Kendal introduced saturation with Dramalips in Red Seal #636 and Famous Lipcolor in Red Realness #689. Eyes carried the drama further with the Mini Palette in All Lights On Me, paired with Famous Primer Mascara and a Liquid Metal Shot, adding sheen to match the collection’s metallic accessories.
Hair by Duffy and styling by Marie Amélie Sauvé reinforced the energy of the show, while casting by Piergiorgio unified the atmosphere.
