Kim Kardashian has confirmed the launch of Skims Beauty, a new chapter under her shapewear and lifestyle brand. The entrepreneur shared that the upcoming line will include fragrance and makeup products, marking her official return to the beauty industry. The launch is expected next year and follows a series of strategic changes that brought all her ventures, fashion, skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance, under one roof.

In March, Skims bought Kim Kardashian’s skincare and makeup brand, SKKN by Kim, from Coty. This gave Skims full control of the company. A few months later, in June, SKKN by Kim closed to make way for Skims Beauty, marking a fresh start focused on new ideas and easier access for customers.

Kardashian confirmed the news during an October 15 episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, where she revealed that the line will reintroduce some of her most popular products from the earlier KKW Beauty brand. Lip liners, one of her best-known releases, will return as part of the collection, alongside an expanded range of makeup and fragrance offerings. “We’re going to bring back what works,” she said.

Kim Kardashian launched KKW Beauty in 2017, known for its neutral colors and simple packaging. It started with contour kits and later added products for eyes, lips, and body before closing in 2021. After that, she introduced SKKN by Kim in 2022, offering skincare products like cleansers, toners, serums, and oils. In 2024, the line added makeup but shut down earlier this year after being acquired by Skims.

While the exact launch date for Skims Beauty remains undisclosed, Kardashian’s move signals a complete unification of her brand identity. By integrating beauty into Skims, she positions the label as a comprehensive lifestyle brand, spanning shapewear, skincare, fashion, and now cosmetics.

In July, Skims released its first beauty item, the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, which received mixed reactions but hinted at the brand’s plans to expand into beauty. Now, with Skims Beauty on the way, Kim Kardashian brings back fan favorites and introduces a new chapter that’s set to become one of next year’s most anticipated launches.
