Fashion house Giorgio Armani launched a new fragrance in February 2013 – Giorgio Armani Eau de Nuit.
It is a nocturnal edition of the first masculine fragrance of the house – Eau Pour Homme, launched in 1984. Sharp, strong, citrusy and aromatic, this one has become a classic among men's fragrances. Armani also launched a new, reformulated version of the classic Eau Pour Homme.
Eau de Nuit is described as dark and opulent and combines notes of spices, citruses, cedar and iris. The composition is warmer and more sensual than the debut. It opens with accords of bergamot and pink pepper. Spicy notes of cardamom and nutmeg form the heart of the perfume together with flowers of iris and heliotrope. The base consists of cedar, tonka and amber.
British violinist Charlie Siem and Italian photographer (son of Italian Vogue editor in chief Franca Sozzani) Francesco Carrozzini are the faces of the new fragrance. The campaign is shot by Inez & Vinoodh.
"Black, first of all. Nocturnal. Masculine. Eau de Nuit is no mere fragrance. It is above all a vision of style. A blend of the Armani codes evoking purity, simplicity and an eye for pure elegance."
The fragrances are available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
