Sol de Janeiro introduces its new Intense Perfume Mists, a higher-concentration fragrance format created in response to demand for longer-lasting scent. The new formulas deliver up to 10 hours of fragrance and extend the brand’s Cheirosa collection with richer versions of familiar scents alongside the debut of Cheirosa 74 Intense.
FRAGRANCES
Brazilian singer IZA fronts Your Endless Summer, Sol de Janeiro’s largest global fragrance campaign to date. Shot on Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, the campaign draws directly from the golden-hour inspiration behind the Intense collection and focuses on warmth, confidence and Brazilian energy.
The Intense Perfume Mists use a higher concentration of fragrance oils than Sol de Janeiro’s existing mists, giving each composition greater longevity. The brand has also developed a signature Solar Ambery Accord for the collection, drawing inspiration from the warmth of Brazilian golden hour. The accord appears throughout the new range and connects each fragrance through a shared ambery character.
Sol de Janeiro designed the format to fit into its existing fragrance-layering ritual. Wearers can pair the Intense Perfume Mists with the brand’s body creams to create a richer scent experience with increased staying power. The collection launches with Cheirosa 59 Intense, Cheirosa 62 Intense and the new Cheirosa 74 Intense on August 23, followed by Cheirosa 91 Intense on September 29.
Cheirosa 74 Intense introduces a new scent to the Cheirosa family. Described as the Golden Gourmand, it opens with bergamot and ripe pineapple. Plum, orange flower and aldehydes form the middle, followed by Solar Ambery Accord and vanilla beans in the drydown. The composition places juicy fruit against warmer gourmand notes and becomes the newest fragrance identity within the collection.
Cheirosa 62 Intense develops one of Sol de Janeiro’s established scents in a richer concentration. Pistachio and almond open the fragrance before heliotrope, jasmine petals and roasted macadamia appear at the center. Solar Ambery Accord joins salted caramel, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla absolute in the drydown. Sol de Janeiro describes the fragrance as the Sun-Drenched Gourmand.
Cheirosa 59 Intense, described as the Euphoric Gourmand, opens with white orchid and macadamia. Violet, jasmine sambac absolute, creamy sandalwood, toffee and patchouli follow, while Solar Ambery Accord, vetiver and whipped musk form the final layer.
Cheirosa 91 Intense arrives later as the Captivating Floral. Passionfruit and pink pepper open the composition, followed by Rio pink rose, magnolia and pistachio cream. Honey caramel, amber, sandalwood and sugar crystals complete the fragrance.
