Uni introduces its new Rain Water-Based Perfume, driving the fragrance category into the skincare era as the beauty industry shifts toward skinification across every product category. The brand utilizes an alcohol-free formula designed to smell like skin after a storm.

The creation derives inspiration from the calm after chaos, specifically the first break in the rain when cool air meets warm skin. This rain scent satisfies a growing consumer appetite for fragrances that feel intimate, clean, comforting, and lived-in. The formulation focuses on presence rather than projection, creating a soft, charged scent that lingers close to the body and evolves with the skin throughout the day.

Uni adopts a skincare-first formulation approach to set Rain apart from other rain scents on the market. Rather than relying on traditional alcohol-heavy bases, the brand infuses the formula with hydrating ingredients and barrier-supporting actives designed to feel as good on skin as they smell.

The key ingredients include glycerin, sea water, Durvillaea Potatorum extract, and Bifurcaria Bifurcata extract. Glycerin helps skin retain moisture for a softer, more supple feel. Sea water, rich in trace minerals, refreshes and remineralizes the skin. Durvillaea Potatorum extract helps hydrate and support skin elasticity. Bifurcaria Bifurcata extract acts as a natural citric acid exfoliator that helps brighten and tone the skin.

The fresh, airy, and atmospheric profile captures the feeling of a summer rain along the Mediterranean coast. Initial notes of juniper, bergamot, and pink berries open into cedar and grapefruit before settling into fig, patchouli, and cypriol for a soft, lingering dry down.

This total aromatic composition transports the wearer to the calm after chaos, specifically capturing the first break in a storm when cool air meets warm skin. Core notes of fresh rain, peony, and oakmoss also linger on the skin, leaving the wearer feeling charged and irresistible.

The brand offers the Rain Water-Based Perfume in two sizes, retailing a 50ml bottle for $72 and a 10ml bottle for $28.
