Dolce & Gabbana has unveiled its limited edition makeup range for the Christmas season. The Sicilian Jewels Collection comprises of four lip colours and four nail lacquers in shades amethyst (bright purple), emerald (luminous green), ruby (deep red) and topaz (amber-yellow gold).
“I love jewels; they are a symbol of power and passion,” said Stefano Gabbana. “I love how they reflect the light: that’s why they have always been part of our collections since the very beginning. We adorn with gems our accessories, our corsetry, everything, like in our latest winter collection, which is the ultimate expression of what jewellery means for us.”
The lip colour contains a creamy and glossy formula and is packaged in a golden cylinder with the top in the same colour as the stone it represents. The Sicilian Jewels Collection by Dolce & Gabbana will be hitting the counters on November 1.
