VIOLETTE_FR introduces Balm Amour Tinted, a tinted version of its nourishing lip treatment. The launch follows six years of research and Violette’s long pursuit of the ideal lip balm. The original Balm Amour reached cult status through a formula built around comfort, care and sensory application. Now the brand adds color through three translucent shades: Rose Latte, Noisette and Dahlia Noir.

The new version keeps the care-first approach of Balm Amour while adding the right level of pigment. Violette explains that customers had asked for a tinted version since the original launch. She wanted to preserve the treatment benefits and the application experience, then add color that feels present without becoming too faint or too intense.

The formula uses no water, which gives each application a concentrated effect. The balm wraps the lips in lasting comfort, while high-performance actives, nourishing butters, protective waxes and antioxidant-rich vitamin E work beyond the moment of wear. Even after the color fades, the care benefits continue. A ceramic applicator adds a cool touch, turning application into a small sensory ritual.

VIOLETTE_FR builds the formula around the same clinically proven innovation that shaped the original Balm Amour. An exclusive blend of a phyto-collagen activator and a tripeptide appears at twice the clinical dose. The formula increases hydration, adds volume and improves texture by smoothing fine lines. At the same time, it gives lips a natural tint and glossy shine.

The brand positions the product as more than a tinted balm. Lips lack sebaceous glands and have a thinner barrier than other areas of the face, which makes them more exposed to dehydration, dryness and chapping. Balm Amour helps retain moisture and limits transepidermal water loss. Its plush texture softens and smooths, reducing the need for repeated application.

The formula uses occlusive agents such as waxes and butters, which nourish the lips and help protect the barrier. These ingredients work with rich emollients and peptides to restore comfort and support lip health. Since the balm contains no water, the formula avoids dilution and evaporation, giving the treatment a direct and concentrated structure.

Clinical results report an average 55% increase in lip hydration, up to 13% increase in lip volume, a reduction in wrinkles and fine lines around the lips, and an improvement in the general state and appearance of the lip epithelium. Consumer results also show strong feedback. After one use, 100% of users reported soothed chapped lips, smoother lips and better hydration. After two weeks, 97% said their lips looked plumper, while 94% saw a visible reduction in wrinkles and fine lines.

The shade range combines skincare performance with Violette’s color expertise. Rose Latte offers a soft pink with a slightly spicy touch. Noisette brings a cocoa brown inspired by grilled hazelnut and 1990s chocolate lipstick. Dahlia Noir adapts a bestselling Lip Nectar shade into an intense plum that balances warm and cool tones.
