Bottega Veneta introduces Alta, a new fragrance collection composed of ten Eaux de Parfum. The launch expands the house’s work in scent through a wider view of Italy, moving across different moods, times of day, and olfactory textures. Alta follows an earlier fragrance chapter rooted in Venice and now looks at Italy through a broader lens, placing Italian ingredients in contact with notes sourced from different parts of the globe.
FRAGRANCES
The collection builds on the idea of the “Intrecciato duo,” a fragrance structure that pairs one ingredient from Italy with another from elsewhere. Bottega Veneta uses this concept to create a scented exchange across geography and memory. The ten compositions move between citrus, aromatic notes, freshness, woods, resins, leather, salt, fruit, and warmth.

Always Now opens the collection with Italian basil accord and vetiver Bourbon essence from Madagascar. The scent places green vibrancy against a darker, more refined vetiver note. Montebello takes inspiration from the house’s atelier gardens in Veneto, pairing blood orange with North African neroli.
Balliamo evokes a warm summer evening through Italian white fig and American cedarwood. The fig note gives the scent a lush quality, while cedarwood adds structure and resonance. Bare Morning moves closer to the skin, pairing Italian talco accord with Oceania sandalwood. Its powdery softness gives the fragrance a quiet, intimate tone within the collection.

Slow Rise focuses on late-summer roses and French clary sage. The composition places floral notes against an aromatic edge, creating a scent that feels open and gradual. Ricordami takes a more nostalgic route through stracciatella ice cream, with milky vanilla and chocolate notes grounded by oakwood. The fragrance expands Bottega Veneta’s idea of Italian scent through a gourmand reference tied to childhood memory.

Moment After brings Italian leather accords together with vanilla. The fragrance softens the leather note through warmth, creating a more sensual direction. Night Sounds moves into deeper territory with Italian saffron accord and Vietnamese benzoin. The pairing creates a resinous nocturnal scent, with saffron adding spice and benzoin adding depth.
Velvet Steps uses Italian plum accord and Spanish labdanum. The plum note gives the scent a syrupy fruit quality, while labdanum creates a richer base. Crepuscolo closes the group with Fior di Sale and South Asian oud, evoking dusk through salt and darker woods. Its contrast between mineral brightness and oud’s deeper tone gives Alta one of its most atmospheric compositions.

The bottle design translates Bottega Veneta’s Intrecciato leather weave into sculptural glass. The diagonal rhythm of the house code appears across the bottle surface, giving the collection a clear visual identity. A wooden cap and gold-finished ring reference Venetian architecture and fine jewelry details, while keeping continuity with earlier fragrance designs. Each bottle uses recycled glass and comes in refillable 50ml and 100ml formats.
Alta launches across Bottega Veneta boutiques, leading department stores worldwide, and online. The collection also arrives with bespoke woven leather accessories, extending the fragrance release into the house’s material language.
