Memo Paris introduces Darling Point, a new fragrance shaped around an olfactory portrait of Sydney and its harbor. The composition draws from the city’s light, water, architecture and floral air, translating those references through ripe fruit, flowers, woods and gourmand notes.
FRAGRANCES
The fragrance opens with sweet pear, one of its central ingredients. Memo Paris describes the note through a juicy, nectar-like character that sits alongside jasmine and bright orange blossom. A praline accord brings caramelized warmth to the composition and connects the scent to the golden light reflected across Sydney Harbor.

Darling Point develops this fruity opening through a wider olfactive structure. The fragrance includes cinnamon, sweet pear, apple, jasmine absolute, bright orange blossom, saffron, rose absolute, moss, cashmere wood and praline. Memo Paris identifies sweet pear, orange flower absolute and rose absolute as its key notes.
Perfumer Aliénor Massenet created Darling Point around ideas of indulgence, comfort and warmth. She focused on the texture of candied pear, giving the fruit an amber syrup quality with a liqueur-like richness. A floral element softens that sweetness and introduces a velvety dimension that remains through the composition.

The Sydney reference extends beyond the fragrance formula. Memo Paris connects Darling Point with the city’s harbor, ocean-facing sky and changing architecture, moving from Victorian houses toward contemporary buildings. Jasmine and orange blossom suggest the air moving through the harbor, while pear, apple, praline, rose and saffron develop the warmer side of the scent.
For the artistic interpretation of Darling Point, Memo Paris worked with Thomas Lélu, an artist and writer who also works across photography, art direction and exhibition curation. Lélu trained at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and has spent more than twenty years working through exhibitions, publications and collaborations. His practice frequently engages with contemporary codes, while his Instagram account has gained attention through the maxims and mantras he publishes there.

Lélu describes Darling Point through sensations of warmth and generosity. He connects the fragrance with a joyful bouquet and sees a dynamic, optimistic quality in its character. He also identifies its gourmand strength and slightly intoxicating effect, comparing that sensation to the vapors of a hot bath.
