Luxury house VALENTINO presented their first Beauty Couture Collection, that was inspired by freedom, inclusivity, and individuality. The collection features a range of options from 40 foundation shades, 50 Valentino R22 lipsticks, and numerous eye products. The brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli captured the campaign featuring Devon Ross, Jill Kortleve, Maja Zimnoch, Malika Louback, Mariacarla Boscono, Mika Schneider, Teddy Corsica, Wang Chenming, Benedetta Piccioli, Zinzi, Giovanni Valentini, Sophia Hyldtoft, Ivana, Harry Browse, Yacine Diop, and Phoebe Matthews. In charge of beauty were Valentino’s beauty global makeup artist Raoul Alejandre, and hair stylist Paul Hanlon. Styling is work of Joe McKenna.

I wanted 16 different beautiful young humans for this campaign because I truly believe that every single one of them speaks of the world and of the values I am trying to deliver through my job. We should treasure, welcome and loudly celebrate our uniqueness. The Couture approach to this project was the other key, couture is by far the place where creativity has an open field of expression enhanced by the mastery of execution, and the attention to details. The work we are doing in Valentino is guided by the principles we trust in, we moved from an aesthetic built on exclusivity to an inclusive one, we growth from a two-dimensional vision of beauty to a three dimensional one, where emotions, dreams, and individuality are as important, if not more, as any other feature. Beauty is directly connected to the intensity of our feelings, the more we love, the more we are connected to our true self the more it shows and glows on the outside. Valentino Beauty is for dreamers, as we all are.” – Pierpaolo Piccioli
