Givenchy introduces L’Interdit Elixir, the newest fragrance to join its women’s L’Interdit collection. The release expands a lineup that already includes original compositions, hair perfumes and collector’s editions. With this edition, the house develops a richer and more intoxicating interpretation of the sensual character associated with the L’Interdit name.

FRAGRANCES

The fragrance takes inspiration from the idea of the forbidden and turns that concept toward secrecy, intensity and desire. Givenchy builds the composition around black cherry, oakwood, rum and vanilla. These four elements create a gourmand profile with fruity, woody and boozy qualities.

Black cherry opens L’Interdit Elixir with a deep and luscious character. The note introduces sweetness while giving the first impression a darker tone. Its intensity defines the opening and establishes the fragrance’s seductive direction from the first spray.

Oakwood enters next and adds a dry, slightly spicy quality. The note gives the composition more structure and draws the scent away from a purely fruity opening. Its woody character supports the richness of the black cherry and prepares the fragrance for the warmer notes that follow.

Rum and vanilla form the base. The rum accord brings an intoxicating, boozy quality, while vanilla adds warmth and sweetness. They create a smooth closing phase with a gourmand effect. The combination continues the fragrance’s focus on feminine sensuality and gives the drydown a playful sense of elegance.

Givenchy presents L’Interdit Elixir as a flamboyant addition to the collection. The fragrance keeps the recognizable sensual direction of the L’Interdit saga and intensifies it through darker ingredients.

The bottle follows the established L’Interdit design. Givenchy uses a black to red gradient across the flacon, giving the glass a dark appearance that becomes warmer toward the base. The color treatment reflects the fragrance’s transition from black cherry and oakwood to rum and vanilla.

A black Givenchy emblem sits around the neck of the bottle. A glossy black cap completes the design and continues the deep color palette. The red gradient adds contrast and connects the packaging with the fragrance’s rich and seductive profile.
