Gap Beauty launches its first collection by reviving the fragrance range that Gap introduced in November 1994. The company brings back Dream, Grass, Heaven and Om as eau de parfums and adds Harmony as a fifth scent.
FRAGRANCES
Gap supports the launch with the Wear What You Feel campaign starring actor Victoria Pedretti. The campaign treats fragrance as part of personal style and examines the moods, energies and expressions that influence how people present themselves.

The original Gap Fragrance collection introduced a clean, all-inclusive approach that felt personal and distinctly Gap. Dream, Grass, Heaven and Om soon became everyday favorites and created memories for a generation. The new collection addresses people who approach fragrance as a changing wardrobe, with scents selected according to mood.
Gap developed the range for longtime customers who remember the original fragrances. The company also addresses a new generation discovering them for the first time. It keeps the central character of the earlier formulas and updates their compositions for current fragrance habits.

DSM-Firmenich perfumers Honorine Blanc and Nicole Mancini created the collection with the Gap Beauty team. Blanc also worked on the original fragrances. The Fragrance Foundation gave her its 2026 Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award.
Dream returns in a form that stays closest to the original. The warm woody fragrance combines fresh Italian bergamot with jasmine and cedarwood. Grass takes a light and restorative direction through green mandarin, matcha and Virginia cedar, creating a clean sense of freshness.

Heaven presents a softer and more sensual composition. A proprietary amber molecule forms its base. Crisp pear, Madagascar vanilla and patchouli brighten the scent. Om offers the deepest option in the group through ginger, sandalwood and cedar.
Harmony joins the range as the only new fragrance. Gap describes it as the most playful scent in the collection. Apricot nectar, gardenia and amber create its bright and uplifting character.

Mark Breitbard, CEO and President of Gap, describes fragrance as a natural extension of the company’s role in personal expression. He says the updated collection speaks to customers who grew up with Gap and people meeting the scents for the first time. He also views fragrance as a personal category that can connect generations as the company continues to develop.
Deb Redmond, Head of Beauty at Gap Inc., identifies fragrance as the starting point for Gap Beauty. She explains that the team followed a rigorous technical process. The team preserved the core DNA of the original scents and updated the formulas for current use. Redmond links the collection to Gap’s aim of making quality accessible. Gap Fragrance launches on July 30 in Gap stores nationwide and through the brand’s website.
