Cécred introduces Temple Oud Hair Perfume, bringing fragrance into the hair care brand founded by Beyoncé in 2024. Designed to work with the chemistry of hair while remaining suitable for use on the body, the new scent extends Cécred beyond treatment and styling with a formula created to refresh hair between washes and leave a lasting fragrance.

Temple Oud follows the scent profile already associated with Cécred, centering on woods and florals. Bergamot, neroli, a spice blend and violet leaves open the composition. Night-blooming jasmine, Mediterranean lavender and Haitian vetiver form the middle, followed by oud, Australian sandalwood and warm musk at the base.

The formula takes advantage of hair’s porous structure, which can retain fragrance for longer than skin. According to Cécred, the perfume works with the chemistry of the hair to release scent gradually over time. The brand also includes antioxidants in the formula and describes the fragrance as carrying notes intended to create a sense of calm.
Temple Oud arrives as a final step in a hair routine. Cécred recommends applying it after styling or using it between wash days to refresh the scent of the hair. The product works across all hair types and textures and can also be worn directly on the body.

The brand suggests pairing the perfume with its Nourishing Hair Oil, which carries the same Temple Oud scent. Used together, the two products connect fragrance with the finishing stages of a hair care routine, with the oil adding shine while the perfume extends the scent.
The launch adds a new category to Cécred, which Beyoncé introduced with a focus on products designed for a wide range of hair textures. At launch, she described the creation of the brand as a lifelong goal and emphasized her intention to develop products for straight, wavy, curly and coily hair.

Cécred brings fragrance into the hair care routine with a formula designed for use after styling or between wash days. Temple Oud extends the brand’s existing scent profile through notes of oud, sandalwood, jasmine, vetiver, bergamot and violet leaves.
