The visual direction centers on a golden tone that runs through the campaign. Hilton appears with soft, voluminous hair that carries a glossy finish, creating a polished look grounded in familiar references from early 2000s Los Angeles. The setting reinforces this direction, with palm trees and beach elements shaping the environment and supporting the overall mood.

“The campaign feels very golden, glowy and nostalgic in the best way. The hair is soft and voluminous and super shiny, very LA. It captures that effortless glam that feels both natural and alluring,” Hilton says. “It was so fun to incorporate palm trees and the beach into the setting. It means so much to me to partner with Paul Mitchell since it is such an iconic LA brand I grew up using.”

Paul Mitchell supports the campaign with its “Icons of Summer” edit, a selection of products designed to maintain blonde hair. The edit introduces a routine built around hydration, protection, and strength. The 15-in-1 Mask and 15-in-1 Leave-In Spray form the core of this offering, with formulas aimed at supporting hair structure while preserving color.

The brand expands the routine with additional styling products. The Super Clean Hairspray and Super Skinny Serum shape the finish, helping achieve a smooth surface and controlled texture.

For maintenance, Paul Mitchell recommends the Forever Blonde Shampoo and Forever Blonde Conditioner. These products continue the focus on blonde care, supporting consistency across daily use. The full selection works together to maintain the tone and texture presented in the campaign.

The campaign positions hot honey blonde as a current direction within the wider return to early 2000s beauty references.
