Lexus presented the Glam LX during its September debut, positioning the concept as a luxury SUV reshaped into a mobile beauty suite. The project targeted drivers and passengers who treat preparation as an essential part of their routine. Instead of focusing only on performance, the brand emphasized how the vehicle creates an experience that connects beauty, fashion, and luxury design.

Lisa McQueen, senior manager of Lexus marketing, described the model as an extension of the company’s vision. “The Glam LX celebrates the latest chapter of Lexus, one that goes beyond comfort and craftsmanship to connect with our guests’ passions and desire for self-expression,” she said. McQueen framed the vehicle as an unexpected but purposeful exploration of design and innovation.
Lexus collaborated with Complete Customs to bring the concept to life. The SUV exterior carries a pearl symphony chameleon wrap that shifts in tone, with crystal-faceted badging offering texture and detail. Inside, stitched pink and white leather provides the base for materials such as mohair, silk, and stone inlay accents, creating a cabin designed to emphasize tactility and visual richness.
The Glam LX integrates a set of bespoke features crafted around the idea of preparation for an event. A trunk vanity and dressing suite sits behind French doors, opening into a compact but complete backstage area. Pullout chairs, twin Robern illuminated mirrors, a retractable privacy screen, an LED-lit clothing rack, and acrylic drawers equip the space for wardrobe changes and accessory storage. Lexus positioned this feature as essential for quick transformations on the way to high-profile occasions.
In the front, a manicure station introduces an on-the-go nail bar with UV/LED lighting. Passengers can refresh polish with speed, turning travel time into preparation time.
The second row expands the concept further with a dedicated beauty studio. VIP doors open to reveal tray tables with stone inlays, a halo-lit skylight for balanced lighting, and a full-width dropdown Robern illuminated mirror. The configuration transforms the backseat into a professional-grade space for precise makeup application.
Storage solutions inside the Glam LX reinforce functionality. Compartments integrate hot tool holders, power outlets, a refrigerated makeup console, and an LED-lit handbag compartment. Each element is designed to keep styling items accessible and organized, ensuring users can prepare effectively while traveling.
The Glam LX will feature in select Lexus marketing activations throughout the year, giving audiences an opportunity to engage with the concept. For Lexus, the vehicle represents more than a design experiment; it operates as a tool to showcase how the brand can expand into areas that intersect with fashion and beauty culture.
