FENDI celebrates its centenary by launching Eaux d’Artifice, a fragrance inspired by the magic of Rome, the city where the Maison began. This new scent reflects both tradition and a modern outlook, capturing the essence of a place known for its beauty and history.

FRAGRANCES

The fragrance’s name refers to the French word for fireworks, symbolizing celebration and joy. It connects to FENDI’s mantra: ieri, oggi, domani – yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This idea runs through the scent, inviting wearers to embrace a moment of festivity that carries meaning across time.

Delfina Delettrez Fendi collaborated with perfumer Jérôme di Marino to create this olfactory tribute. The fragrance draws inspiration from Rome’s famous fountains, especially the Trevi Fountain, which Delfina experienced during quiet nights. She envisioned the fountain as a living work of art, a stone stage with water constantly flowing in a rhythmic dance.

The scent reveals mineral and aquatic notes, designed to evoke the sensation of water cascading over marble. It also includes a sensual and musky base, balanced with the fresh aroma of juniper berries. Metallic hints recall the coins tossed into the fountain, symbolizing wishes and fortune. These touches reflect Delfina’s background in High Jewellery, turning the fragrance into an invisible accessory that rests gently on the skin.

Delfina describes perfume as a silent accessory that speaks to identity and desire. This new scent follows that idea, connecting emotion with craftsmanship.

Eaux d’Artifice joins two well-known FENDI fragrances, Perché No and La Baguette, expanding the Maison’s growing perfume family. This collection, first introduced last year, marks a new chapter for FENDI in the world of scents.

The fragrances come together as a narrative, telling the story of the Maison from its origins in 1925. That year, Adele Casagrande Fendi and Edoardo Fendi opened a workshop in Rome focusing on furs and leather goods. Over the decades, the family’s values and vision passed from one generation of women to the next, forming a close bond and inspiring creativity.

This heritage shapes the collection’s character, which embraces exclusivity, storytelling, and emotion. Each perfume represents an aspect of FENDI’s identity, inviting wearers to connect with its legacy on a personal level.
