Kérastase introduces Chronologiste Longevity Potion, a new scalp serum that addresses the visible signs of hair aging through a formula developed for long-term hair and scalp care. The brand presented the product on October 19, 2026, at the L’Oréal Academy in Belgrade, bringing together hairstylists from exclusive Kérastase salons, selected influencers, and lifestyle media representatives. The event focused on the growing interest in longevity within the beauty industry and the importance of scalp care in maintaining youthful-looking hair.

HAIR

As hair ages, its appearance and texture can change. Dryness, reduced shine, limited volume, and increased difficulty with styling can affect its overall condition. Kérastase identifies five signs of hair aging and introduces Longevity Potion as a targeted treatment designed to address them. The serum joins the Chronologiste range as part of a care routine that users can incorporate into their salon treatments and daily lives.

The formula combines 3% Pro-Xylane with Ochrophyta algae, two ingredients that Kérastase describes as its latest longevity-focused pairing. Pro-Xylane helps revitalize the hair roots, while Ochrophyta algae supports the scalp’s protective barrier and contributes to hydration. These ingredients form the basis of a treatment that focuses on scalp condition as an essential factor in the appearance of healthy hair.

The lightweight serum absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling, making it suitable for regular use. Menthol provides a refreshing sensation upon application, while the fragrance follows the Chronologiste line’s recognizable Paris Couture scent. The composition combines bergamot, iris, and green notes with floral accords, musk, and patchouli.

According to instrumental testing conducted after a single application, the serum delivered a 43% increase in the hydration effect, a 2.2% increase in hair fiber diameter, and 46% greater hair shine. These figures reflect the results of instrumental measurements following one use. Kérastase recommends applying the serum every three days to towel-dried hair over a one-month period.

The Belgrade presentation welcomed more than 60 selected guests, who explored the new product and experienced the Chronologiste range firsthand. The evening also included a discussion about longevity as an emerging focus in the beauty industry, examining how approaches to personal care continue to develop.

Sanja Burg, Director of Communications and Engagement at L’Oréal Adria-Balkan, discussed the role of longevity in the future of beauty. Her presentation accompanied the brand’s introduction of its latest scalp treatment, connecting the product launch to wider conversations about long-term care.

The program also welcomed Dr. Nikola Borovčanin, an aesthetic medicine physician, who discussed longevity from the perspective of aesthetic medicine. His contribution addressed current trends and recommendations concerning skin care, including the scalp as an integral part of the skin.
