L’Oréal Professionnel joined Weinsanto for Spring Summer 2027 during Paris Fashion Week, supporting a hair direction created by French hairstylist and longtime Weinsanto collaborator Kevin Jacotot. The beauty concept translated the collection’s “Audace” theme into polished, highly controlled hair built around shine, stillness and graphic surface details.

HAIR

Jacotot approached the hair through precision and restraint. He fixed it close to the head, removed almost all movement and created a glossy surface with the smooth finish of a store-window mannequin. The controlled shape gave each look a sculptural quality while keeping the hair closely connected to the clothes and overall styling.

The most distinctive element came through custom extensions made to mirror prints from the collection. These pieces introduced animal motifs directly into the hair, including zebra, leopard and reptile references, alongside Y2K-inspired streaks.

Jacotot also used rhinestones as part of the hair concept. Four models wore stones applied directly to the hair and head, echoing the sequined textures seen across the collection. This detail gave the styling a more decorative finish.

The remaining looks stayed closer to natural hair texture while maintaining a reflective, polished surface. Shine became one of the central visual elements across the cast, giving the hair a consistent finish even when the decorative details changed from one model to another.

Jacotot described the look through the idea of hair with “zero movement,” using the mannequin reference to explain the rigid, polished quality he wanted to achieve. That approach allowed the extensions, rhinestones and glossy finish to carry the visual impact.

The beauty direction also connected closely with Weinsanto’s broader preference for humor, excess and theatrical presentation. Jacotot translated those qualities through surface treatment, using print, shine and embellishment to create an effect that remained graphic from every angle.

The collaboration continues Jacotot’s work across fashion, music and entertainment. Alongside his hairstyling career, he created the hat and accessories label Headpeace&hat and has worked with brands including Weinsanto, Charles de Vilmorin, Pressiat and Paul & Joe. His previous projects also span film, music videos and cultural events at institutions including Villa Noailles and Centre Pompidou.

L’Oréal Professionnel and Kevin Jacotot treated hair as a central part of the show’s visual direction. Sleek shapes, animal-print extensions, rhinestones and high shine gave the beauty look a precise identity, turning the hair into an extension of the collection’s graphic and theatrical character.
