Marc Jacobs has offered a new look at Marc Jacobs Beauty, sharing an Instagram post that points to the first product from the relaunched cosmetics line. The American fashion designer appeared in the image holding a branded compact, giving followers a close preview of Legally Bronze, a bronzer tied to the brand’s upcoming return.

The post arrived with the caption, “Not tonite but coming soon. Legally Bronze @marcjacobsbeauty.” The image shows Jacobs holding a mirrored compact embossed with a daisy motif, placing the product at the center of the update.
The compact’s daisy motif creates a direct connection to another major part of the Marc Jacobs beauty universe. The designer’s fragrance line has often used oversized daisy flowers on bottle caps, giving the bronzer packaging a familiar brand reference.
Jacobs posted the teaser during the Met Gala on May 4 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The timing placed Marc Jacobs Beauty back into fashion conversation during one of the most watched red carpet nights of the year. Rachel Sennott, American actress and Marc Jacobs Ambassador, reportedly wore a full face of new Marc Jacobs Beauty makeup at the event. Reports also pointed to the brand’s new eyeliner and a lilac eyeshadow as part of her look. That appearance gave the relaunch another visible placement.
Marc Jacobs Beauty first launched in 2013 and quickly built a strong following across makeup categories. Kendo, the LVMH-owned brand incubator, discontinued the line eight years later, which led to a strong reaction from fans who had followed the brand since its original launch. The return of Marc Jacobs Beauty has since remained a major point of interest for beauty consumers who remember its packaging, color products, and fashion-led approach.
In 2023, Coty extended its license deal with the Marc Jacobs brand. The agreement already covered fragrance and expanded to include cosmetics, opening the path for Marc Jacobs Beauty to return.
Jacobs has placed the relaunch in motion with a compact that connects to his brand language, his fragrance history, and his personal presence. The post keeps details limited, yet it gives fans the first clear sign of what the renewed Marc Jacobs Beauty line may look like when it returns.
