The Ordinary gave beauty a direct role in Willy Chavarria Spring Summer 2027, bringing Skin in Common backstage for the Paris presentation of Comunión. As exclusive skincare partner, the brand placed care before the runway and turned preparation into a shared ritual for models, crew and team members.
SKINCARE
The project treated skincare as a shared act. Models, crew and team members followed the same ritual before the show, turning preparation into a collective moment. The idea connected directly with Chavarria’s wider theme for the season, which focused on community, solidarity and the power of gathering.
The Ordinary’s presence suited the message of Comunión. The brand builds its identity around direct formulas, science, access and clear information. Its skincare language avoids excess and focuses on function. At Chavarria’s show, that approach moved into a fashion setting without losing its purpose.
The skin looked luminous and real, with a finish that allowed each face to stay present. The Ordinary created the base through care, while the makeup direction added emotion and intensity.
The collaboration used skincare to express access and common ground. In a season built around Comunión, The Ordinary helped turn backstage into part of the message, proving that beauty can begin with the way people gather, prepare and care for one another.
