At the heart of eLVes lies a daring floral-amber composition. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud infuses the fragrance with Bulgarian rose absolute and an exclusive CO2-extracted Centifolia rose, creating a scent that is both tender and powerful. Breaking new ground in perfumery, eLVes also features the scent of lily-of-the-valley, a flower previously deemed “silent,” now captured through a revolutionary extraction process developed in Grasse. The unexpected combination of rose and lily-of-the-valley forms the foundation of a radiant bouquet, layered with notes of blackcurrant, peach, and coconut milk for added brightness and complexity.
To amplify the composition’s emotional depth, Cavallier Belletrud introduces a contrast of warmth and spice. Using CO2-extracted cinnamon and ginger, the scent pulses with energy, grounded by Ambroxan, a modern amber molecule that enhances its long-lasting, sensual appeal. A hint of patchouli adds intensity, allowing the fragrance to unfold and evolve over time. The perfumer describes eLVes as “a composition that conveys values and emotion… a perfume of spontaneity and strength, for women writing their own stories.”
Presented in the signature Louis Vuitton cylindrical bottle, eLVes reveals a luminous violet hue, a color symbolizing the union of earth and sky. The bottle can be paired with a travel case crafted in black lambskin and ebony Monogram canvas, accented with a violet microfibre interior and silver hardware, reflecting the combination of craftsmanship and contemporary elegance that defines the Maison’s design language.
