Louis Vuitton commemorates the first anniversary of LVERS, its eau de parfum created by Pharrell Williams and Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, with a limited-edition bottle forged in pure copper. This reinterpretation of the original flacon honors both the scent’s concept, sunlight in a bottle, and the craftsmanship that defines the House.
FRAGRANCES
The LVERS Copper Edition takes on a material closely linked to the fragrance’s original inspiration. Copper, known for its energy-conducting properties, aligns with the scent’s focus on light, vitality, and regeneration. The matte surface, once polished, reflects a warm, sunlit glow. The engraved Louis Vuitton Monogram on each bottle reinforces the House’s design language, while the handcrafted process behind each piece ensures no two are identical.

Artisans near Florence, the region long known for metal craftsmanship, create each flacon through the lost-wax casting method. For every bottle, they begin by forming a wax model, which they encase in a plaster shell. After heating and melting the wax, they pour molten copper into the mold. This approach produces a solid form that replicates Louis Vuitton’s classic fragrance silhouette. Once cooled, each flacon undergoes careful polishing that draws out the soft gold tone within the copper.

Copper has long played a role in the Louis Vuitton vocabulary. In the 1800s, explorers relied on copper-plated interiors in their trunks to protect belongings from humidity. Pharrell revisited that legacy in his Spring Summer 2024 debut, using copper across hard-sided luggage and accessories. With time, this material responds to natural elements, gradually changing in tone and texture. The copper LVERS flacon follows that principle, evolving in appearance through the owner’s use and environment.
The fragrance itself first appeared in June 2024 as part of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton. Pharrell and Cavallier Belletrud built it around the theme of photosynthesis, using scent to trace how light affects growth and energy in nature. The composition centers on notes drawn from nature’s transformation under the sun, galbanum for greenery, cedar and sandalwood for depth, ginger and bergamot for freshness. Together, they channel an atmosphere shaped by warmth and clarity.

Louis Vuitton released the LVERS Copper Edition on 5 June 2025 in select boutiques. Limited to just 30 flacons worldwide, this edition introduces a rare expression within the Les Parfums collection. Each 100ml bottle of the LVERS Copper Edition eau de parfum retails for €5,000.
