Memo Paris introduces Menorca, a fragrance shaped by the island’s whitewashed houses, clear coves, salt flats and coastal air. Clear water, white architecture and untamed vegetation give the younger, more private Balearic island its distinct identity. The composition begins with the freshness of early morning, when cool walls meet the first movement of the sea. Italian bergamot and lemon create a bright opening, while ginger adds a crisp, crystalline edge.

Neroli enters next with a warm floral tone that recalls the island’s sunlit architecture. Orris concrete brings a soft, velvety texture, and carrot seed adds an earthy quality that connects the fragrance to Menorca’s pathways and dry terrain. The transition gives the composition a tactile character as floral and root-like notes settle close to the skin.

White musks provide the fragrance with its underlying strength. A salty musk accord introduces the sensation of seawater drying after a swim, while mineral notes recall the white-gold salt from the island’s coast. Sandalwood adds a creamy finish and gives the base a smooth, lasting presence. Memo Paris identifies bergamot essence, neroli essence and salty musk as the key notes, placing brightness, floral warmth and marine salinity at the center of the composition.
The full olfactive structure includes bergamot essence, clear ginger, lemon essence, neroli essence, orris concrete, carrot seed essence, salty musk, a mineral accord and sandalwood essence. This sequence moves from sharp citrus into textured florals and finishes with musk, minerals and wood.
French perfumer Sophie Labbé created the fragrance. After training at ISIPCA in Versailles, she developed a style grounded in technical precision and refined composition. Her work often combines delicate floral notes with woody, musky or softly sweet accords. Nature, emotion and personal memory guide her process, and she translates those references into structured olfactive forms. For Menorca, she focuses on citrus clarity, neroli, iris, salt and sandalwood to express the island’s physical character. London-based visual designer Shir Daniel supports the project through an approach centered on storytelling and image-making.

Memo Paris also presents a candle created in collaboration with Sal de Menorca. The 180-gram Flor de Sal candle draws from La Concepción Salt Flats at the far end of Fornells Bay. La Concepción dates to 1853 and remains Menorca’s only active salt-producing site. It has supported the island’s virgin sea salt production for nearly two centuries.
At La Concepción, sun, wind and sea work together to form salt with a distinct local character. The candle carries that environment into the home and connects the fragrance project to a living island practice.
