Valentino Beauty opens a new fragrance chapter with Vendetta, a pair of scents built around instinct, desire and emotional intensity. Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo approach the idea from different directions, using floral, gourmand, spicy and woody notes to create two distinct compositions connected by a shared emphasis on texture and skin.
FRAGRANCES
Master perfumer Dominique Ropion created Vendetta Donna with perfumer Andrew Everett. The floral gourmand woody fragrance places tuberose at its centre, drawing on the flower’s narcotic and sensual character. An exclusive Tuberose Osmobloom™ extract captures the scent of the flower as it opens at dawn, while Air-Capture extraction intensifies its luminous and creamy qualities.

Ropion focuses on the tension within tuberose itself. Its white petals and solar impression give the flower an immediate brightness, while its lactonic depth introduces something denser and more intimate. In Vendetta Donna, the note expands across the composition with a smooth, skin-like quality, supported by golden floral tones.
A red orange nectar accord gives the opening a sharper energy. Everett took inspiration from the Tarocco Rosso orange, an Italian variety known for sweetness and depth of flavour. The accord feels juicy and syrupy, while a salty accent adds definition and prevents the gourmand direction from becoming overly heavy. The result gives the fragrance an immediate lift before the tuberose develops fully.
Sandalwood anchors the base with a creamy woody tone. It extends the softness of the floral centre and gives Vendetta Donna a warmer, closer finish. The composition moves from bright citrus to dense white flowers and smooth wood, creating a gradual shift from radiance towards intimacy.

Vendetta Uomo takes a more angular approach. Master perfumer Marie Salamagne created the woody spicy gourmand fragrance around ginger, cinnamon and patchouli. A high-definition ginger CO2 extract from Peru opens the scent with clear, sparkling heat, supported by the freshness of Italian citrus.
A Cinnamon Liquor Accord defines the centre. The note introduces warmth, sweetness and spice, while additional spices deepen its tactile quality. The accord gives the fragrance its most expressive character, moving between gourmand richness and dry heat.
Patchouli essence provides the base with structure. Salamagne selected a pure extract that preserves the material’s raw woody character, then paired it with a carnal woods accord. The combination creates a close, textured trail that stays connected to the skin. Vendetta Uomo relies on controlled intensity, allowing ginger and cinnamon to remain vivid without losing the weight of the darker base.

The bottles connect both scents through a graphic V motif and a pleated cap inspired by folds used in Valentino garments. Vendetta Donna appears in a deep red hue that refers to the house’s signature colour and reinforces the fragrance’s focus on heat and passion. Presented together, the two bottles share a single design language while retaining separate identities.
Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård front the first Vendetta campaign visuals, photographed by Inez & Vinoodh. The imagery presents the pair as two lovers moving through an instinctive escape, guided by connection and freedom. A forthcoming campaign film will continue the story.
Vendetta succeeds through the contrast between its two olfactory profiles. Donna uses tuberose, citrus nectar and sandalwood to create a luminous floral density. Uomo moves through ginger, cinnamon liquor and patchouli with greater dryness and spice. Together, they establish a coordinated fragrance duo without forcing both compositions into the same formula.
